Anne DePrince

TITAN (Institute of Trauma, Adversity and Injustice: An Interdisciplinary Institute at The University of Tulsa) and Magic City Books are pleased to welcome Anne DePrince, a distinguished university professor and associate vice provost of public good strategy and research at the University of Denver, for a discussion her recent book Every 90 Seconds: Our Common Cause Ending Violence against Women on Tuesday October 11 at 7:oo pm in the Great Hall of the Allen Chapman Student Union on the campus of The University of Tulsa.

DePrince works with both youth and adults to study trauma and the consequences of violence against women and children. In Every 90 Seconds, she shows how ending violence against women must involve a redefinition of how we engage with it. Her work shows how violence against women is connected to issues that affect us all.
