Join Magic City Books, Tulsa Artist Fellowship and the University of Tulsa School of Art for the book release party celebrating Young Blood by Dan Farnum.
The photographs in Dan Farnum’s debut photography book Young Blood investigate children, teenagers, and young adults raised amidst a backdrop of economic decomposition in the neighborhoods of Michigan’s auto towns. Adolescence and early adulthood are characterized by both fragile uncertainty and exciting potential.
The images in Young Blood were made over a ten-year period on visits back to Farnum’s home state of Michigan. The Tulsa Artist Fellowship, Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition, and The University of Tulsa generously provided funding for its publication.
This event is free and open to the public. We welcome people of all abilities. For questions about accessibility or to request an accommodation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 918.591.2461. Requests should be made at least one week prior to the event.
With the belief that arts are critical to the advancement of cultural citizenship, Tulsa Artist Fellowship supports both local and national artists while enriching the Tulsa community. Tulsa Artist Fellowship is a George Kaiser Family Foundation initiative.
