Magic City Books is proud to welcome Oklahoma author Heather Levy for a book launch event in celebration of her latest novel, Hurt for Me, on Saturday February 10 at 2:00 pm. This free event will take place in the Algonquin Room at Magic City Books, 221 E. Archer Street, in the Tulsa Arts District.
Heather Levy is a born and bred Oklahoman and graduate of Oklahoma City University’s Red Earth MFA program for creative writing. The New York Times called her Anthony-nominated debut, Walking through Needles, “a spellbinding novel at the nexus of power, desire, and abuse that portends a bright future,” and the Los Angeles Times called it “a standout for its frank but sensitive exploration of trauma and desire.
Heather will be joined in conversation with Mark Westmoreland, author of the Dooley Brothers novels, A Violent Gospel and A Mourning Song.
