About All Pride, No Ego
Many business leaders, especially those who identify as LGBTQ+, struggle with feelings of marginalization and exclusion. Their struggles are undoubtedly real and caused by tangible obstacles, and there are real-world examples and role models from which anyone can draw inspiration as they advance through the corporate ranks.
In All Pride, No Ego: A Queer Executive’s Journey to Living and Leading Authentically, veteran executive Jim Fielding delivers an inspirational leadership story told from the vantage point of an LGBTQ+ person. In the book, you’ll find a call-to-action for authentic, servant leadership that encourages people to own their truth and bring out the best in themselves and their teams.
The author’s personal story is used to illustrate key decisions and inflection points–and to highlight the style, learnings, successes, and failures, that characterize Fielding’s rise to the heights of the American corporate arena. The guidance contained within is delivered as if by a trusted mentor, walking you through the steps you need to take to define what happiness and success mean to you, and then achieving those goals. You’ll also learn the importance of becoming and remaining a lifelong learner, staying constantly curious, and controlling the controllable (while leaving room for the possible).
An indispensable resource for anyone who feels marginalized, misunderstood, and limited by industries that frequently fail to accept people for who they are, All Pride, No Ego: A Queer Executive’s Journey to Living and Leading Authentically will also earn a place in the libraries of current and aspiring business leaders looking for practical and relevant advice with immediate impact.
