Lauren Akins

August 18, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Thank you for your interest in Lauren Akins’s LIVE IN LOVE tour! Unfortunately, due to safety concerns stemming from the continued spread of COVID-19, we have decided to transition this event into a virtual conversation.

The release of Lauren Akins’ deeply personal memoir LIVE IN LOVE: Growing Together Through Life’s Changes (Ballantine Books) will be moving to August 18, 2020. Previously purchased tickets will be honored accordingly for the rescheduled date.

“Announcing our plans to release this book was a big leap of faith for me, but the response has reminded me of just how connected we all are on this journey,” said Akins. “I’m so looking forward to seeing everyone out on the road later this summer when we can be together safely to celebrate.”

Fans  have access to connect with Akins even more directly by texting her Community phone number at 615-398-6369.

Join Lauren Akins to celebrate her first book Live in Love, a deeply personal love story of her modern family with long-time partner and childhood best friend, multi-PLATINUM selling performer Thomas Rhett. In this hour-long moderated virtual talk, Lauren will offer inspiring guidance from her own experiences on staying in love, balancing children and marriage, practicing faith, and living a life of purpose. Guests will get a behind-the-scenes look at the challenges of being married to her music star best friend and the struggle to find her own footing in the frenzy of her husband’s fame.

Lauren will open up about her life-changing experiences doing mission work in Uganda, where she met the precious baby who would become their first daughter a year later. From sharing the romance of their handwritten wedding vows, to the challenges they faced as they adjusted to the reality of becoming first-time parents, Lauren will share her path to self-discovery.
