Magic City Book Bash

We’re thrilled to announce that on Saturday, April 12, we’re collaborating with Downtown Tulsa Partnership to host our annual Magic City Book Bash!

Beginning with our origins as Booksmart Tulsa, we have made connecting Tulsa readers with authors one of our core missions. And for over a decade we have given a space and a platform to over a thousand authors to share their books with our community.

The Magic City Book Bash will be a celebration of the Tulsa literary magic for which we are named. It will be held from 10:00am to 3:00pm along Archer Street between Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. and Detroit Avenue. In addition to the bevy of local authors who will be available to meet and sign books, we’ll have presentations throughout the event in our Algonquin Room — including a celebration of Downtown Tulsa Partnership’s 2025 Curbside Haiku winners!

This family-friendly event will also include the TCCL Bookmobile, storytime, a DJ, crafts, booths from community partners, and more! We’re also excited to have our Archer Street neighbors — Que Gusto, Made, Shuffles, and Lone Wolf — joining in the festivities.
