Markham Johnson – In Person

Magic City Books is proud to welcome Tulsa poet Markham Johnson for a celebration of his new collection of poetry, Dear Dreamland on Monday June 20 at 7:00pm in the Algonquin Room at Magic City Books.

Dear Dreamland is the latest collection of poetry from Markham Johnson, winner of the Pablo Neruda Prize in Poetry from Nimrod International Journal. Markham will read and discuss his poems at a free event in the store.

Poems from Dear Dreamland have been published in numerous journals including Nine Mile Magazine, Coal Hill Review, Consequence Review, Comstock Review, and English Journal. Markham Johnson has an MFA in writing from Vermont College, and for twenty years he taught English and coached sports teams at Holland Hall in Tulsa.
